Hirosaka paint livery
So I'm reading through old magasines and got my interest in the Masami paint livery.
I might be way out of , but was it Masami's dad who started with the multi colored flames desighn on Masamis and other team drivers cars?
EDIT: Dual/Vin knew that Shouzo Takatani painted most of the shells for Team Yokomo drivers.
Takatani signed both wings on Masami's '89 and '91 Stealth car.
So far I've ID'ed
Masami's of corse. The green one.
Kayano's in white.
Satoshi's in blue.
_____ in yellow.
_____ in pink.
Kazutaka Sumida‘s in red.
_____ in orange
_____ in purple
Masamis brother Mitsumi Hirosaka also had the sheme, but so far theres only been black and white pics of his cars.
Do you guys know of other drivers that used the livery in different colors?

Re: Hirosaka paint livery
Dual owns the red one. I think he got it off a Japan auction site awhile back.
EDIT to add link.

Okay so we now know that Shouzo Takatani painted most of the shells for Team Yokomo drivers.
DualI wrote have seen green (Masami Hirosaka), white (Satoshi Kayano), blue (Satoshi Maezumi), purple (?), red (?) and yellow(?).
Not much that have come up since 2014 then.. I'm not quitting yet though.

Re: Hirosaka paint livery
I really think you are onto something here. Seems very plausible. You may have cracked the code!
I never knew the team drivers had the same scheme with different colors. I just remember seeing Masami's cars all over the RC mags when I was a kid and assumed he was so good, nobody else was allowed to have that style of paint.

Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: Hirosaka paint livery
Yeah,
I dont think I can get any further with this unless we have some info from within the japanese team or anyone else.
I've sent Dual/Vin a message to check if he has ID his car, but if Vin's orange RC10 is a team drivers car we only miss two cars/colors and that is the red and purple and of course the drivers names for:
yellow
pink
orange

Re: Hirosaka paint livery
I was trying to research Yokomo drivers from the 90's. Hiroshi Suzuki's name shows 7th place in the 4WD C-Main at the 91 Worlds. I also found pics of his newer Yokes and they released a "signature model" drift car with his name and picture on the box. If I had to make an educated guess, based on his newer paint schemes, I would say he was a Yokomo team driver back in the 90's and that the yellow body belongs to him. Thoughts? Comments?
