Vintage Kyosho Mint Las Vegas 1/8
Last Saturday I went to the rc store to buy a new glow plug and fuel line, I wasn't look for anything in particular, The owner is an old guy, a little bit grumpy, for some reason he start a simple chat, asking me why do I need a glow plug, he told that no-one is buying nitro now, just electric, then I explain him I was restoring a couple of vintage nitro buggies from the 80s, the old man look at me with some king of smile and ask me if I got pictures of my projects, I think he looking at the pictures bring him some nice memories, he ask me Why?? I answer, I just love vintage cars when things where made to last... He look at me and said, wait here, my heart started to pumping up very fast, probably some dusty parts?, more than welcome right? The he appears after long lasting 20 minutes with a yellow car in his hands... WWWOOAAAHHH!! a Vintage Kyosho Mint Las Vegas, complete, electronic, engine, etc barely used, full of dust and old nitro oil.
Car History
According with the rc Store Owner, 25 years ago a client ask him for help, he didn't know anything about nitro, het just bought the car and assembled, they jus fire it up, some carburetor settings must be done and check everything else, they set set a fair price and the orinal owner supposed to collect his Rc car next weekend, nothing happened from the last 25 years!!
Conclusion
The store owner ask me... Do you wanted? I really wanted to find a nice home, it's been sitting in the back too long, clearly I say yes!! (Remember that my budget was for a single glow plug) I accept his price and now its in intensive care..... To be Continue....

Old paint has to go, it's in really bad condition and peeling off, pity. A beautiful Power Coat yellow will fit niceley.

A New Hope;)
Starting from cero, building according the old manual and common sense, this Las Vegas kit is showing Kyosho evolution but the material cost effective much more plastic in comparison with Rowdy Baja, oh well that's the way to reduce weigh I guess. What a beautiful machinery right?

Very cool car and an amazing find!
I see "Henri Pescarolo" is your driver. FWIW, he is known for wearing green helmets.
