Got a nice Polaris AM receiver, and the FCC should approve of it.

It's got a mighty FCC gold label ID. I've never seen that on a Novak receiver before, but BITD my stuff was all wideband.

I've got old receivers with FCC stickers on them.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:45 pm It's got a mighty FCC gold label ID. I've never seen that on a Novak receiver before, but BITD my stuff was all wideband.
But yes, the Polaris is narrow band. The XXL is ultra narrow band, tuned for specific brand transmitters.

A few zerdas coming out from under Sid's bed in toy story, all been mildly mutilated. I've got one coming from Switzerland with some issues...silvertriple wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 11:56 am I did ask last week on thursday to someone who had a car listed for few months if it was still available, and luckily, it happened to be available. It took few days before it was actually sent, to the point I was a bit worried this would never come...
It arrived today.
The bug body is really nice, and it will probably finish on another chassis, and it hides something else...
Hirobo Zerda. The roll cage is a puzzle, there is a few issues I spotted already on the pictures one week ago, but nothing too difficult, I think.
And there is even a old Futaba ESC in working state...

Got another Futaba esc. This one is a MC110. I really like these old Futaba's with the translucent cases. I didn't notice it until I went to test it, but this one is factory wired for a Kyosho plug (backward Tamiya). It's the only non-Kyosho speed control that I've seen like that.

Got a Beast, a Mr T (I pity da fool!), a Bud's stock, and a few others.
.
My wish list is down to just a few motors now, a black can Paragon, an orange can Race Prep, and a Peak Performance Marauder.

Look closer at the Bud's motor. They offered some mods with bushings and locked timing. Those seem to have some correlation with the Reedy ES Esprit motors.
I picked up one, which I thought was a stock. It turned out to be a 17T, 12° motor.

This Bud's motor used to also have a rectangular 2nd label on the can, but the shaft end of the can is stamped ROAR STOCK. My other Bud's motor has the side hand engraved 259A and SP on the end of the can. I haven't looked into it.
