Ditch the 3s stuff. There's no reason to beat the hell out of cars with expensive discontinued parts.

I’ve been bashing on the brushed one for awhile and now the new part list, shock parts! Cracked a screw in half and lost shock bushing. Do I stick with stock or go with the aluminum? They brushed one currently has a metal or aluminum ones on the front. Idk if these are aftermarket or factory team parts.

After a spin out under a car I only managed to find the nylon nut

Actually is it better to go full aluminum for the bidding and nuts? Any other tips are appreciated and all this is on the brushed one. I’m pulling parts until I can get the other brushless one working again.

Shock bushings are still available. Dynotech has them and 3D printed ones are available.

Does anyone know if I can use the b6 suspension? Im able to find other future replacement parts but the shocks seem to be another hard to find series of parts.

Or is this generally enough for a rebuilt kit? https://zombieracerc.com/products/team-associated-shock-rebuild-kit?variant=42459313799397 and maybe the aluminum shock caps?

Sorry if these seem to be noobie questions. I've built them up before but never had the power to bash them this hard. It was usually broken arms and servos from jumps :D

Are b4 shocks okay to fit on a b3? This part is really stumping me. As much as I’d like to just rebuild them both, I just gotta try to different shocks on the brushless. I found these shock bodies but anyone if they will fit or what other parts I need to complete it?

https://www.hobbytown.com/team-associated-factory-team-v2-1.18-threaded-rear-shock-body-set-2-asc7479/p176095#tab-compat

I remember one of my shocks leaking and searching around it seems to be a common problem. Is it or am I just trying to do too much?

T4 rear shock bodies are 1.39", which obviously is closer to the B3 1.32" rear shock bodies than the B4 1.18" rear. So if you can find T4 rear shocks, it's a closer fit and yes you can use the B3 shock shaft.

Okay. Out send like I just match up the sizes of the regular b3 shocks. Thanks for all the info guys. My credit company loves me and my wife is saying that I spend a suspicious amount of time on my phone. I’m just looking for buggy parts I swear!!!

My wife went into my hobby room at the far end of the basement last week (which never happens) and yells out, "YOU HAVE ("x" number of RC's she counted) RC CARS?" I paused, thought for a sec and replied, "They're not all mine."

Hahaha. It’s not mine, I’m just holding it for a friend!! Wanna buy 2 old road cars? A Losi street weapon and yokomo?

I got the triad slipper installed, put it on a little too tight and roasted one of the spurs. I’ll spare you the horror pics unless you’re into that kinda thing but it’s a
good thing they come with 2. Reinstalled the second one and loosened it properly. Ran fine but now I’m wondering what’s a proper ball diff setting? A little looser or tighter then what the instructions say? The slipper nut ran itself a little loose to the point it would just slip. I’d rather wrench a loose nut then rebuild any day, so that’s a win in my book. I really forgot how much fun these things are. My wife, not so excited I have another excuse to run off to the garage!

Oh yea. Hex adapter on the way. I’m not sure if it was the power or something else causing the pin to rip and fuse into the rim. 0.0

The factory team brushed one is still working properly. I wonder why :P

I run my diff's a little on the tight side. For general purposes, you will never notice the difference. However, longevity will definitely go up. So what if it doesn't turn quite as well.

When questioned if there’s more of them my response is
“ nope, same ones I’ve always had “
No worries once there’s more then can be counted in a reasonable amount of time you should be good. It really helps if you keep the bodies off as well btw, makes it much harder to distinguish the difference
Not that I’ve had any similar experience though
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out 8)
