Nice job Gary,

A few years ago, I polished up the magnesium bulkheads, motor mounts and hubs on my yz10. After a short time, it became dull because of the oxidation. I re-polished everything and I sprayed some clear coat over the parts.

Just an FYI, I used a wire brush on my dremel to do the job. It cleaned up the part from a gray color back to a silver color (but not too shiney).

regards,
highwayracer

Brake fluid and nitro fuel can both cloud the lexan. Try a citrus based cleaner.

I love the works 93 - such a great looking YZ10 when fully built. I'm thinking of selling off this one if anyone is interested:

Really nice. I personally wouldn't have dyed the white bits but it looks very good. What's the hop-up motor mount you have put on there, Corally?

Such a funky design especially that front, torsion bar system (is that the right word?).

Fair enough about the white parts, dying to black does really refresh old bits. If you give them a super thorough clean and a polish before hand they can come out looking like new. But you all ready new that.

Anyway...Team Suzuki for the win!

I had been using some kind of bleach/ cleansing agents .......trying to revert those spare parts already became yellowish (white originally) back to white......... but not succeeded yet up to this moment.......

I personally, have found that bleach kind of burns the plastics and makes them yellow.

Best thing I have found to do is just scrub them clean.
