Hopefully Losi will expand on the optional parts and give us a set of mini 1.2s…and a better selection of springs..and improved shock cartridges..lol. Don’t forget about the Proformance kit with .9s all the way around..that is how I have been looking at this black-pro car..a Jrx2 with proformance shock upgrades.clm wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 8:42 pmYeah, that shock tower is really more suited to the 1.2 inch XL shocks which we don't yet have... It is an issue for my LXT build as well. With just the two sizes we have available I think we are good for Jrx2 (obviously), early JrxT, the Juniors, and maybe the Pro SE without running into shock length issues. :/BattleTrak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 8:27 pm Finally got the Factory Works Pro rear shock tower installed. The lower middle shock holes seem to be ideal. At first I tried the lower outer holes like the Proformance manual recommends..but the springs rubbed the trailing links. Now to start trimming the body…

With the H arms I think you could also move up on the arm to utilize the upper part of the pro tower until longer shocks arrive.

It wasn't a proformance kit, it was a proformanance kit.BattleTrak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 9:17 pmHopefully Losi will expand on the optional parts and give us a set of mini 1.2s…and a better selection of springs..and improved shock cartridges..lol. Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I just had a thought, and perhaps someone out there might have a pair to set next to the Mini, What about Jconcepts double d 1.7 rc10 classic rear tires on custom printed rims for a truck conversion of the Mini Jrx2?
Well scratch that I just bought a pair, we will see when they get here, I have some worn out vintage rc10 rear tires and they look like they would be just right for a 1/16 truck...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Wait, so does the live hinge last 70% less than the original?
Nice work! Pair that with the early no hole rear tower. Need to print some silver rings to go on the outdrives as well

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
70%? More like 90% unless you have some decent flexible filament... Saying that my original battery box hinge still works it was the two clip that fell of the first time I ever closed it.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Live hinge didn't work with my pla.. so added a hinge. Unfortunately the battery won't fit in now due to the square edge hard case...
Oh yeah mini showed up a couple days ago and has a funky beauty mark across the chassis lol

The QC PASS sticker is the icing on that cake

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out
