New tires for the purdy Assault rear wheels. I was hoping they would fit a certain other wheel also, and they did; so score there.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

I wondered if those would work. Kyosho uses I different style bead than most others. Excellent!

I finally found the motor I've wanted for over 30yrs at a decent price.
. .
It came with a really nice, well cared for T2 attached, but that was ok with me. The T2s are some really cool trucks.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
To celebrate the new Cougar re-re, I got some Schumacher junk in the mail!!!
Nothing much, just a couple of Mission partial chassis hulks, and a Cougar KR buggy.
Lots of useful part for my Mission graveyard, so hopefully I can turn that into one or even two complete runners.... and as for the buggy, it needs a clean, and some paint and decal work.... and then maybe I'll outfit it with some brushless gear and go rip stuff up. Or, clean it up and onsell it, in my usual style

Osiris is the key.

And finally got the front Kyosho tires for a future Assault build, and as expected, they fit great for RC-10B1s also. So, if you are building a slightly incorrect B1 runner and just want good functional tires, Kyosho is currently making them for about $25-30 for a full set. The opposite side of the tires is blank if the SAND SUPER script is too offensive or out of place.

Post office had a few things for me today. A couple of optima mid undertrays, some carbon parts for my ultima pro and a little amp for the cb.

It's a Peak Performance Beast early wet mag Yokomo based mod motor. After a quick search it should be a 12x2. Dirty and the brushes are pretty worn, hopefully the comm is in good shape.

I finally splurged on some MIP drivers. They actually came from the LHS. The XX sway bar is going on my WOIN XX.

Love my mip drivers. The quality is astonishing, I’m a good 6 years into them and no wear, no breakage. I would highly recommend the exotek aluminum identifiers. Not cheap but sure beats the heat shrink they come with
