I recently picked this up from a FB post after wanting a 10T since the 90's. Plan is to go through it and get it running on modern electronics.
-Opened the trans, cleaned/re-lubed. There were two bushings in the transmission that I replaced with bearings. There was also a missing diff ball so I replaced all of those.
-Replaced the odd looking front body mount.
-New jconcepts yellow wheels with Proline Trencher tires
-Found a NOS battery bar. Need to replace the screw with pin hole in it. Not sure where the current one is from.
-Need to open the shocks/rebuild them.
I'm looking at the Hobbywing 10.5T setup that a lot of people seem to like. I have an Spektrum remote/receiver combo that I will be using for it with throttle limiter.
Let me know what I am missing. Anyone know what that front bumper is?
It looks like an RTR to me that someone has been tinkering with. Had been upgraded from bushings to bearings. So far I have:My RC10 T3 Project

Re: My RC10 T3 Project
This may be considered a hate crime here, so apologies in advance, but the B3/T3 looks like someone wanted to make their own Losi XX. That is not a bad thing as I loved my XX. I had left the hobby before the B3/T3 were released, so literally never saw one, but every time I see a pic posted, my thoughts go back to my old XX.
I did race the original RC10T bitd, so not a hater at all. I am just curious if there are any good Losi vs AE stories that resulted in the similarity. Perhaps it was just the normal "converge of design" we see in all forms of competition, but it would be more fun if it was a case of someone jumping ship from one team to the other or an "if you can't beat 'em join 'em" moment.

Re: My RC10 T3 Project
It's been a fun project. Got it all cleaned up and running and have been having a lot of fun with it. I ended up going with a Hobbywing QuicRun QR10BL120 ESC and a Justock 10.5T.
