Re: Basement find
Yes, the LNS2000 is the Punisher kit for your short front arms RC10. You can get it for that same price with cheap shipping and no tax from A Main Hobbies:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/lunsford-punisher-associated-rc10-titanium-turnbuckle-kit-7-lns2000/p274100
I would also get an adjustment wrench too, if you don't have one small enough. It fits the Punisher turnbuckles as well as Schumacher.
https://www.amainhobbies.com/schumacher-steel-turnbuckle-wrench-5.5mm-3.9mm-schu4229/p1239380
You might be able to piece together that Lunsford set cheaper from Schumacher steel (HTT) turnbuckles

Re: Basement find
I use one at work and have one at home as well. Useful for so many things. Just don't put soft gems like opals or pearls in them, they melt like butter.

Re: Basement find
You should have asked first. Those rear wheels are for 3/16" axles, your car has 1/4" axles.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: Basement find
Not sure how much success you'll have trying to drill the 1/4" axle taper. Getting off center could make for a really wobbly wheel.
Your rear wheel options probably are:
1. Get 3/16" rear stub axles and flanged bearings. Axles aren't readily available.
2. Get Custom Works Short CVD kit and again 3/16" flanged bearings. Right now most places appear to be out of stock on the Short CVD kit
3. Get 12mm hex adapters and hex rear wheels
4. Get 1/4" rear wheels. Need to consider the rim size preferred (1.6", 1.9", 2", 2.2")
5. Get additional tires for your original wheels

Re: Basement find
I will be working on this for a while, I’m going to try and find some cvds, 3/16 or 1/4” if you know anyone that’s selling please let me know, I saw some on eBay for crazy money so I can wait till I find a fair price. Thanks for options you guys are super helpful!!! The wheels were cheap enough I may try drilling but like I said, I have time so hopefully I find a a set.

Re: Basement find
Looking at online build manuals, that's a maybe. Some versions show 1/4" axles, some show 3/16" axles. There are also universal joint axle assemblies that are all seem to be 1/4" axle (2nd photo).

Re: Basement find
If you had a metal lathe or know someone with one, the 1/4" axles could be trimmed a little so they accept 3/16" wheels and still use the 1/4" bearings.

Re: Basement find
It did clean up nicely.
That looks like a straight wire was being used in place of the front sway bar, which would have had ball cup connections to the front arms.
