original Top Cat & Cougar Mrk. 1 restoring/restomodding
Hi.
Lipo mount help.
I found my old Cats on the loft, a Procat, Top Cat, Courgar Mrk.1 and the 30% left of my old XLS.
I´m rebuilding the Top Cat and Cougar first, they wil be upgraded to lipo and brushless.
I am struggeling a bit to find a lipoholder that fits the original chassis, I´m running 2s shorty's and want to mount it sideway. I would prefer not to drill holes in the old girls I tried looking in here for inspiration but I seemed only to be able to find the rereleases with Lipo's installed.
Any inspiration and help wil be appreciated.

This seems like a natural fit for 3D printing a custom bracket that uses existing holes. At least that's what I'd do if I had the buggy. With enough measurements, one of us 3D printing people on the site could probably help out. In lieu of some of the measurements, the chassis, battery, etc could be 2D scanned and the scans provided for measurements.

I think It´s gonna be a 3D print, the one on Muzzoom Models, dos not fit with the existing holes in the chassis.
So far thanks for your answers.

Both cars are awesome. Well done that man!
Please don't think I am nit-picking, but I noticed one of the rocker arm pins has gone missing from the TC. Or maybe it is just not centered in the arm. If it is a runner, it is worth fixing. Schumacher still sells them in this set:
