Blue T2 chassis?
Hello. Was there ever a blue t2 chassis made, either factory or aftermarket?
Saw a picture of a t2 and the chassis looked blue. A lot of other parts are blue on the truck, so I know it’s entirely possible it was painted by the owner. Just didn’t know for sure. Thanks

It looks like the “file is too large” to post the pictures I have of the truck. If I figure it out, I’ll post the pictures. Thanks

Re: Blue T2 chassis?
There was one on eBay recently that was blue and silver pattern striped. I asked the seller and they said it had been hydro dipped. That was the only blue T2 chassis I've seen and it seemed to have not been originally blue.

Re: Blue T2 chassis?
Badboyz made a bunch of anodized parts for B2 and B3, which is the same era as T2, so it's very likely they made t2 parts as well.
It's also fairly common to reanodize parts, so unless you know it's an original peice it could have been reanodized.

Thanks. Ya I’ve seen that hydradip process on YouTube. It’s pretty interesting.
Figures. I haven’t seen a factory chassis, but was curious. I’ll probably still try and buy it. Thanks.

That's a picture of an rc10T and not a t2. The original picture looks like a owner modified t2

Re: Blue T2 chassis?
Depending on how far you want to invest your time and money it's possible to get a chassis power coated or re-anodized to a color you want. Some posters here have made really striking builds.Dessertrat wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 10:42 am Thanks. Ya I’ve seen that hydradip process on YouTube. It’s pretty interesting.
