Your post made me remember that I have one of these NIB somewhere. I bought it back in 2012. Someone on eBay was blowing out a whole bunch of them for next to nothing. I bought one as it was too good of a deal to pass up. I figured I'd use it on a future build but a decade later, and it's yet to happen. I always thought they were really cool looking but the erroneous 'Remote' Control System always bugged me.

Got another graphite chassis. Based on the shape and finish, I think it's a TQ10. It ain't perfect but whatever.
Picked up some more axles and dogbones. Shortly after, I learned that JC Racing was releasing new universals.
Found a Duratrax Powerline motor, 17T. I've been wanting one for a while but they have all been overpriced or in poor condition.

I think that battery tray is from a TRX1 - at least that is what my old eyes are saying.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 4:19 pm Got another graphite chassis. Based on the shape and finish, I think it's a TQ10.

Added a missing piece to my collection, I've been slowly re-collecting all of the old buggies/trucks that I owned back in the day, this is one of the last ones I needed and luckily found a pretty clean one. Needs a couple of things, but overall very pleased.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Super Excited to start cleaning and restoring!
Looky what I have on the way!
Not that I need another project, let alone three more, but I had wanted an
RC10 to add to my collection and this sale popped up a day or two ago so I jumped on it.
So for $175 shipped we scored
RC10 A or B IDK with what looks to be Andy's A Arms
RC10GT TF of some sort, I am unsure as to the Nitro Engine
and a Kyosho Ultima II ?? (Unsure if I want to keep this one may clean it all up and get rid of it. I'm not really into Kyosho stuff.)
and as per usual a box of other stuff, Extra Tires, Tire Warmer, etc.

I think I am just about out of reasons for being so chicken $hit to start airbrushing. Brush, mixing bowls, and droppers showed up today. I just hope HD has some combo of adapters to make my hose fit this brush because they ain't jiving so far.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

This template seems like it might be handy in the future, and so do the spare axles.
