Well, the danger of having a loaded PayPal account results in buying things I don't need.
I haven't had a buggy project in quite awhile, it's all been trucks for the past few years. Until this recent purchase, I only had 1 buggy left in my entire collection, and it's a shelfer. I really wanted a B4 FT car and probably should have bought one (and considered it many times) when they were still available new. I guess it's better late than never.
This model is the B4.1 Factory Team + 8mm Worlds Car. I picked it up for what seemed to be a fair price. It's a complete roller and I just plan to tear it down, clean it up, and drive it. Everything seems to be in really good condition with little wear and tear. Since you can still find B4 parts pretty easy, I'll grab parts along the way to keep on hand for restoring it down the road.

Re: Another Buggy Project - B4.1 Worlds Car
Searching the internet and a local hobby store, I was able to source many of the parts I would need for a future restoration, including the + 8mm chassis. I found a hobby shop online with a couple of these chassis still in stock I picked up for retail pricing.

Associated seem to get with all of the different chassis lengths and variants of the 4 series. It seems the 4b/t.1.2.3 is currently in the sweet spot for vintage associated. You can do some decent mods without breaking the bank.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do.
Are you going for a strict factory equipment set or are you going to add some aftermarket parts?
