It came with the remote but no box. The remote has a damaged antenna and is missing the battery cover so it's not great. I'll probably change out the electronics anyway so that's no problem. It's just nice to get a truck that needs no repairs.

If you haven't used one of those transmitters before, you aren't missing out on anything. They are pretty typical of RTR's. Maybe better quality than some newer RTR stuff.

The Ace receiver isn't that bad. I actually use a couple them with my 27mhz Airtronics transmitters.

I still have 3 open memory locations on my 2PL radio so that's what I plan to use. Frankly I'm not sure this truck will get much running because it's in really nice condition. But I'm sure it will get a few battery packs run through it just to try it out.

I assume my original T4.3 RTR transmitter or receiver are crapping out. After disassembling the truck completely, rebuilt the gear diff and added a handful of suspension and chassis upgrades and swapped 87T to 77T spur, I reinstalled all the factory electronics and the truck kept constantly cutting out when running it. I tried three different lipo batteries and changed the transmitter batteries to rule out any type of battery issue. But that had no effect, and the truck had far less top end even switching from 87T to 77T spur.

It took me close to a year of being on this forum before realizing the magic which this shop creates.

Got a bit of unobtanium today. A GV / Hobby Lobby Hunter (or Robbe Pantera) differential. These just don't exist as individual parts, but a little hobby shop in Germany had one sitting around. Thank you Ralph @ WMS RC Shop!

Finally got into the office to pick these two up... they've been waiting a few weeks, but I couldn't get in and get them. Picked them both up for a price I consider good for just one of them - two Subarus for the price of one, Merry Christmas to me!!

The HPI is a nice car, and in good condition, but has been run and is full of stones - will need a good clean. Spec is full bearings, 15T Fireball motor and brushed ESC, with HPI servo and 2.4G radio system. Transmitter is a bit gimmicky, but will test it for function tomorrow. These cars were supplied fully built, so this has probably never been apart. Body has greatdetail, and looks pretty good, although has some damage to the lower front splitter, sadly.... may have to come off.

The Tamiya is new built but dirty, and doesn't seem to have ever turned a wheel under it's own power. Comes with a TBLE02s brushed / brushless ESC and silver can motor, and a Tactic (Hobbico) 2.4 transmitter and receiver (first 2.4 receiver I've ever owned with no external antenna!). Car is completely stock, right down to the plastic bushes, and will eventually be stripped and rebuilt with full bearings. The body looks like a hell of a job on it's own - I'll definitely need a run-up for that one! :D

Sadly, the seller posted these two by sticking postal labels on both boxes, and then taping them together, so the boxes are ruined.... but the cars themselves are fine.

Definitely a couple of nice additions to my collection!

Picked up another 6 gear for a graphite car.

Considering that the outer hub is missing, I may have overpaid a little for it. But its in otherwise excellent condition and I have a new hub ordered.
