Take new nimh cells and make them look vintage?

Post by hudson hornet ! »

Is there anyone who reproduces shrink wrap to make a new nimh sub-c cell look like an old 2000 or 3300? I think it would be a neat idea. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Ebay has RC battery shrink wrap. Just have to measure your cell O.D. for correct size.

Also MCI racing has Sub C vintage decals.

I have some old peak and trinity cells I would be willing to scan if someone wants to attempt to print.

Happy to cut off the factory cover and scan flat - then using LRP or similar cells would be the go.

Clear pvc style shrink over the top would cover all many of sins too.
