Losi XX Parts
Hi All,
I am sure this has come up time and again but I am struggling to find a specific part for my XX, the steering broke and I need the left side (from the rear) steering connector that is part of the bell crank. Photo also attached.
Im happy to pay for the part or parts but not £100. Im also happy with a 3d printed version or indeed an upgrraded part to alloy if they are available. Just cant seem to find anything at all.
Thanks in advance.
Sharpy

Re: Losi XX Parts
Hey. Finding a replacement in the early grey color will be more challenging. The later brownish white parts are pretty readily available. If you don't find grey, you can always dye a set of white arms black with a bottle of Rit Dye. Very easy to do.

Thanks, might be a UK thing then, I literally cannot find the parts anywhere. I have found someone that is importing them from Australia for a premium. I do know a carbon fibre manufacturer so im going to speak to him and see if he can make some of the parts for me... actually tempted to ask if he can make the whole thing out of carbon fibre.

Re: Losi XX Parts
If I´m not mistaken you need parts tree A1601 http://vintagelosi.com/1000XX.html#19 (Thanks Vintagelosi.com for the excellent webpage!).
This is the later version mentioned earlier.
There is one on Ebay right now for $40.
However a carbon fiber one would be really nice!

What´s the reason for replacing the shocks?

Re: Losi XX Parts
Mainly as I don't want to do any more damage to them, its been on its roof more times than I care to mention and the top of the shocks are looking a bit second hand. I am also looking for some OEM ones. To be honest the more I look at it the more I want to just strip the whole thing down and restore it properly and get something more modern for hammering around the local park.

Hey, I’ve been thinking of buying a whole new tree (yes, expensive) but can possibly do a trade for my old steering.
It’s the yellow/white coloured version though.

Re: Losi XX Parts
I might have some spare bell cranks, and live in the UK. PM me if you are interested and I'll take a look - all my spares are tucked away.
