I don't think that the problem was with the promoting it. It was that it was nearly every post.

My suggestion: Put it in your signature, in bright bold letters. And add a link to the section. That way, it is in all your posts, without shoving it down people's throats.

It's due to this sort of thinking that I have been basically incarcerated in my own home for most of the past year and a half. And I can tell you, I'm sick of seeing the 'c' word EVERYWHERE. Which is pretty much the same point as scr8p said above, about turning down the volume.

Course, that's just my 1.5c worth.... would be 2c, but these days..... *sigh*
