RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
This will be my very first RC10 build. I've built lots of RC10T's, but the first gen RC10 buggies don't normally do it for me.
However the Composite Craft RC10 has been on my want list for many years. I finally caught an opportunity to buy this new CC chassis, and I couldn't pass on it.
I am not sure how I will build it up yet. Any suggestions are welcome. Pictured below shows about the only RC10 parts l currently have.
I also am showing the CC buggy chassis next to the CC RC10T for comparison. I love the finish of the CC material.
More to come. Please let me know if you have any available parts that may be a good fit. Thanks.

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
That is fantastic, very rare to see the original chassis set brand new. Unbelievable you have the T as well. Thank you for having a photo of the rpm rear bulkhead. Seeing its battery cup shape and after checking out the rpm instructions explains why it sits the way it does on my CC/RPM car.
Seeing your builds over time tells this will no doubt be a stunning representation of a rare car. Good luck on your parts hunt !
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
You should be able to find the rear arms. Those are more common than the fronts. The unicorn parts are the rpm steering kit. But if you don't mind black, you can fit Losi lxt parts and trim the steering arm down to buggy length. Or just use regular rc10 parts. Otherwise my vote is super clean white stealth box and houge steering bellcranks. Universals or mip cvds. Black motor plate and rear guard.
Get some matching towers from factory works.
Shocks, wheels and body I'm not sure.
I could suggest more, but then it would really look like the one I have

Btw, the black motor guard and front yellow springs that fit associated shocks are still available from rpm directly. Phone call and money order.

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
Composite Craft parts always had such a certain quality to them, very much expensive but worth it for looks and finish alone. The CC RC10 Worlds I built years ago was arguably the nicest car I ever built. So nice I couldn't bring myself to actually drive it. lol
I never knew of a truck version existing. Cool!

Do you have pictures of your CC build that you can share?Bottom Feeder wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 4:53 pm Composite Craft parts always had such a certain quality to them, very much expensive but worth it for looks and finish alone. I've built up 2 CC RC10Ts. You can see them in my gallery link below.

Sorry, that was built and eventually sold off 25+ years ago. I wish I had it back!

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
I've been working on building up the shocks. Similar to what I did on one of my CC RC10T buikds, I machined and then polished the shock body and caps.
I'm using these cool rubber tipped grub screws so the shock body doesn't get scratched when tightened. Aluminum bottom retainers round out the polished look.
I was planning to use black springs, as I did on the other set of similar shocks, but I sort of like the look with the polished gold springs. Any suggestions are always welcome.

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
^Thanks!
I am hoping to find some rear white RPM arms for this build. I would also love to eventually find a RPM steering enhancement kit as well. Please let me know if you have either of these available.
Does anyone know if Losi made f & r wheels that fit the RC10? I think their disc style wheels would look good.
Thanks

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Pro build
Wow nice start. Always enjoy watching your builds.
Almost ordered a couple times because they are much cheaper and more available than Losi wheel discs.
And it may keep it more AE and less Losi

While looking for disc wheels and discs for my LosiXXs I kept coming across A7129, discs for 2.2 Associated wheels.Does anyone know if Losi made f & r wheels that fit the RC10? I think their disc style wheels would look good.

Okay, I was thinking they made a nylon one I didn’t know about. That would have been nice. Oh well, what color from what you remember ?
