Unfortunately, I had ridden the mower down the road to some other property that I own. I didn't bring the keys, so I had to ride it out on the porch.

Didn't have my phone with me. It had given me an overheating alarm earlier, so I left it inside.

At least the rain stopped for a while.
Thank goodness our weather forecast for today just whipped a fantastic 180. Friday evening, they were calling today's forecast to be mid 90s and high humidity, meaning low-mid 100s heat index. Just checked right now and its now high of 87 with almost no humidity, 42%. That's awesome because my bro, nephew, son and I are taking the RCs out later this morning and then going to the spectacular Sycamore "turning back time" car show.

A view south along the Maxwell Lake trail in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. That little rock half-dome way up-drainage is "Eagle Cap". Little bit of "regional haze" (I call it smoke). It's fire season out dare in dem woods don't cha know.

Doesn't hold a candle to the view above, but man it's 65 Fahrenheit and a nice breeze tonight. Perfect Busch Light night cap weather just moments ago. :D

Somehow, three 18 wheeler car haulers got tangled up.

I sat in traffic for about an hour and a half. My truck was in park for about an hour.

All of this because I decided to go to the LHS, three exits away.

Korean mandated quarantine day 11/14. I am about to Daffy Duck myself over the horizon.... Anyhow, here's a pic off the back deck. Air quality was actually really good today. There are days when I can't even see the buildings over there.

Was stoked to get a "cool" car in for an oil change after what seems like an endless string of undermaintained cars like the Daewoo Matiz and Ssangyong Korando, etc. This thing only had 4500 miles on it. I even dusted off the torque wrench for the drain plug install seeing as it's got the rest of it's life for somebody else to pull the threads out.
2020, 5.7L, 6sp manual. Not really into the Chargers, but the Challangers are pretty sweet.

I have heard millions of Cicadas, and seen hundreds of their "shells," but in 46 years, I have never seen this. Watched this little display as I was out weed-eating this evening. After going in an showering after the last pic, I went to go check on them, and they were gone.
