Side by side packs to fit a rc10

Are there any commonly available packs that will fit a traditional rc10 with a manual speed controller?

I was looking a this it’s only 5 cells though.

Its not perfect, but it should fit.

I heard that you can remove the end caps from a stick pack and that will fit.

I use 1800 nimh stick packs, remove the plastic end caps & re-shrinkwrap. They fit.
