I just put a set of 3D printed Andy's front arms on a car (from Shapeways). By the time I got them fitted up and working smoothly, I'd just assumed paying full price for originals.

yeah thats fair i just thought the metal would be stronger cause i plan to have some fun with this thing and its my first car.
I'm sure it is. But then you just move the breaking point somewhere else.
Honestly, if you want a car to bash with, buy a Traxxas. You can replace almost anything on them for under $5, and having to spend $10 would be uncommon.
Bashing with a 30+ year old car will get expensive.

Definitely agreed. I'm not going to be jumping it/ go SUPER fast(it has an RC airplane motor in it) but I don't really want to leave it to collect dust on the shelf
