Big noob from Norcal!

Hi, I recently got an old Rc10 from my uncle. I know literally nothing about its history except that it has an A stamp on the chassis. I am trying to get it running again(I know a lot of people will say to put it on a shelf). as of this writing, it does work, however not well, and one of the front arms is snapped. By not well I mean that the car drives even when I'm not touching the throttle and only when I jam the throttle trigger into full reverse does the car stop.(maybe faulty esc). but hey I'm just here to learn and have fun!

Your uncle had good taste. Get some pictures of that esc and your radio up here and maybe we can help. I'm in Fresno, depending on where you are we can plan a meet up sometime and I can have closer look at the problem. I'd also explain what does what and why. No I not going to charge you for it.
