Yes, but that would have been giving 9" to the fair Lane.... which (I've heard) amounts to 4 1/2" twice.... two for one price?RC10th wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 10:00 pmHookers would have been cheaper and more fun.......Incredible_Serious wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 9:23 pmMaybe when you finish giving 9" to the Fairlane.....![]()

Great Scott!! That's the perfect speed; just put a DeLorean body on it!

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

That thing is beautiful!

I started into a SCX10 Bronco myself last week. Slightly later model.....

Thank you so much! The shorty Bronco is such a fun little ride and the setup is so sweet.
I love your yellow new style bronco body...i was so tempted to get that new body style when they were first available.
Whats the wheel base on that?

It's about 11.5", so a little short for my 12" SCX. Once I get to cutting away plastic bumpers, fender flares, and running boards though, I don't think it will really matter.

Looks like a perfect fit to me. You can always shorten the links to get it down to the correct wheelbase. I had to work hard to get my scx10 down to a 9.75 inch wheel base to get it looking correct for that Tamiya bronco body.

They both look awesome! If one of you could do a scale model of the truck from F13 part 2 it would be so classic!

I tried the speed run thing, gave up after I couldn’t keep the car on the ground for pretty much the same reason. You think the surface is smooth until you hear the car scraping the whole time.

Just added this videoLoboNYC wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 11:42 pm Given perfect conditions and having the day off (which i do), which RC car would i take out for the most fun?
Hmmm...Although im a nitro guy and most of my collections is associated...i would have to go with my little custom Axial SCX10 bucking Bronco.
It has a custom short wheelbase STRC chassis which required the MIP short dig CVDs to get the proper angles of the drive line and shorter links than what was included in the STRC kit.
It took me a long time to get everything right but when i did it was the most fun RC i ever ran. It is a joy to watch it crawl over rocks or just cruise in the dirt. The suspension is realistic and fun to watch. It is reliable and strong as almost everything has been replaced with aluminum or steel. It has some weight to it but runs oh so smooth.
the best part is that perfect conditions could be a beautiful sunny day, or a dreary snowy day...the 4x4 keeps it moving.
