SERPENT Project 4X + upgrades aka "the polisher's fingers killer"

Post by Trass »

Hi,

Special dedication to DADIO ;)

This is the most terrific chassis i had to polish after anodising removing.

To be ready for polishing, the hard coating anidising was removed in 2 times for some parts, and it was not easy to polish (I remind you that I don't have a polishing machine)

Only sand paper from 180 to 5000, and Belgum alu, used with old coton T-shirts.

All screws were remplaced by the same one, in Inox A2, even the washers.

It was my first SERPENT chassis... there is a lot of part... tiny parts ..... spécific tiny parts .....

I can indicate you the time it use me to to this chassis, but for sure it's more than 2.5 times more from the others  Lockdown was a good time for polishing ;)

The chassis was disassembled
