Hey Guys...I just stumbled across this yesterday...
Where would a Tamiya Astute fit?? Is it considered a "pro" car or would it fit into the other "non-pro" class??
BTW, I love the site - all this retro talk is starting to make my wallet hurt

The Tamiyas are going to be interesting to fit into the classes.

Astute would fall in wiht 2wd buggy not Classic. Classic is for plasic tub and other types of entry level car. The astute, vanquish, avante, egress, amoung others were more of a pro style in my opinion.
I think I'm going to put together a general list (not going to list EVERY car) so that people get a better sense of what runs with what.

Thanks Erich
It might be time to dig out the old Astute and see what needs to be done
and see if I can get it running by September

Just bought some tickets.
See ya'll in September!
I will be running 2wd class with either a hybrid JRX Pro, or '91 Worlds RC10, and classic with a Frog. Might run a LXT in the truck class if I can get enough radio equipment together.

Is there going to be a vintage car and stock Motor class (old FireFox Motors)?

Tamiya Re-Issues...
Erich, do all the Tamiya re-issues (pre-'94 ones) fall under the same umbrella - meaning they are elligible for this event?
Was looking at some pics of the old grasshopper/hornets and thought it was be awesome to get one of the re-issues for this race
