Another cheap chassis saved from landfill.... Tamiya TB01.
) with a good haul of spares.
Now to strip, clean and rebuild it.... or in Alex speak, to throw it in the shed and look at it again in six months...

Not perfect by any means, but has the shock towers and a bunch of other parts missing from my much nicer project car.... so between the two, will be able to produce a nice runner (

More random parts (2.4ghz receiving to match a controller I have) for my modernization of my RC10T. Going to rebuild the shocks tonight and probably assemble the rest of the car.
I'm down to needing the spur and pinion gears which should be here Monday. That's the last thing preventing me from putting batteries is it and running it.
I still have to print up a new battery mount tomorrow.

Saw these tucked into a small lot of parts and got them for £20 delivered , these are the pucker white nylon gears with steel axles for the Yokomo yz-834b

I got some used CVD's in today. They seemed to be in much worse shape than the pictures but a good soaking in vinegar and there are as good as new. Shaft will has little corrosion but nothing some good old steel wool won't fix tonight. The joints themselves are in good shape though.

Picked this up on the cheap, just don't know a single thing about it except it's a 540 can and darkish blue in color. Anyone have a clue or heard of Ruby Racing motors?

she will....then u know u will be distracted because of that car.....so when she notices she will say "is something wrong?" or something along those lines....you will say "nothing is wrong" then there might be tude!...only because u are thinking about your new car and not them....but u cant talk about it because its a "babys toy" to anyone not into the hobby...they think of it like we would if they were playing with dolls....its a horrible thing to deal with to be in the hobby

This will be me my last rc purchase for awhile...so pretty cool it was a "holy grail". My 360pt in my collection quit working, so i bought this to replace it. Its brand new never ran....i usually test all my vintage motors on a machine and in the "Salute" (see Feb. BOTM) but not this one....its my prized posession

Oh well, she was cool doing her own thing for most of the night which gave me about three hours on the DR10 ..................... just for me to learn how little I seemed to get done in three hours.

Like real cars, working on and modifying them is half the fun. I wouldn't be interested in the hobby if someone else did all the work and I only held the transmitter.
