Very cool build Dennis, I'm guessing you did a build thread on this? I'm curious about the rear shock tower and wing mount.

Many thanks for the kind words.
Regarding the rear shock mount and wing mount -
Shock mount = LAW7
Wing mount = UMW-1
I didn´t do a proper build thread

Simply awesome!
Mounting the rear shocks behind the arms seems like a no-brainer - not sure why Kyosho ever mounted them in front of the arms.
Just trying to keep the mass centralized I guess. Sure looks better with them in back.

This is a fantastic looking build! I am not very familiar with these cars, and wondering where the finned motor plate comes from?

Thanks for the kind words
It came from France

I´m wondering about the maker myself. Not the almighty though

I found it pictured in a lot, without description, on French Ebay. Made the seller a fair offer on the motor plate alone.
He ended up sending me the entire lot.

Dennis...another excellent build, but why little droop on the rear when stationary? Is it because your have used a lazer rear shock tower with mid arms?

Thanks for the kind words Naushad.
The rear stance is lowest possible - There´s 5 extra holes in the rear upper shock mount, which all will give a bit more droop.
I like them them low for shelf duty, that way, they won´t blow over if it gets windy

I'd like to know more about how you got the slipper assembly adapted. Thanks!

Awesome build Dennis, I truly hope you will race that thing on carpet at least, with all the hopups you have put in there, it would be a sacrilège not to run it!
