Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
The RPS SE Kit tires were Team Losi Racing which I believe were made by / and same as Pro-Line Champions.
And I am assuming that is what are on the car in the low res pic
And the best part is they are both hard to find, but Pro-Line re-re'd some a few years back.

Got almost everything now to duplicate it...car, original novak 1 esc, the exact same 16t Trinity motor with slot brushes, aluminum wheels, tires, body and 7 new yellow nicad cells....just need that dude from Spain to reply about those Sanyo decals.

Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
I have a feeling the ProLine Champion tires are out of production now that the RC10 Classic is out as well , you can still find them but its getting hard , I struggled to get my last set for my 834b shelfer .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Started the build! This post is for Dadio!
only the gearbox and ball diff have been done. everything else was just disassembled.... tranny has the slipper option.
-new cells
-sanyo decals comin
-new wheels/tires
-new body/wing/decals
-fresh rebuild on trinity 16 turn wiith slot car brushes
-ultra rare Novak 1 esc (getn new wires)
-new aluminum c hubs from Pargu comin (one broken)
[attachment=0]Resized_20201027_162004.jpeg[/attach
ment]
Seriously considering the 7 cell chassis from Factory Works. It would lay out cells so nice....Thoughts?
Got all this invested and the actual car isnt even mine...raced against it in the 80s and the guy dropped it off yrs ago to display....been here ever since so decided to to this Gil Losi Jr. resto project...if he comes back to get it guess i'll have to buy it....dudes 73 or so tho
