Rc10 graphite handling help!
I have been searching the pages for some advise, but it all points to major surgery, I am looking to sort the front end out, it’s currently stock.
On the rear I have shortened the tower and put med length shocks, this is working well, however the front end needs widening or lowering as a result to get it sitting into the track. Anyone got tips on stock front end set up. or are there any shapeways wider arms that bolt on the graphite ? most threads talk about the GT front end. Will post a pic of the car as it sits today. Target grass tracks, On power steering is an issue at the moment. Cheers in advance.

Hi, If your Graphite is stock. All you really need to do to the front end is change the caster blocks, stock are 15 degree. you will get more turn in from 25 deg or 30 deg. Gold or blue springs.

Thanks for that.. makes total sense.. that’s the proble basically no turn in unless you throw it in the corner off the accelerator, which is fine for tight corners but bloody annoying on long sweeping turns!

Re: Rc10 graphite handling help!
New ones on the ??
.. that should help!!
Marked difference.. now I take it the stock ones are the bottom, of-sets caster on the front kicker the top ones work with the angle of the arms/kicker. Out of interest what angle is the kicker ? 20deg?

Re: Rc10 graphite handling help!
Right so that’s that as a neutral grass set up to start with, seem ok to peeps?
Ride height 27mm Rear 26 front
Front springs- move softer anyone know the spring rates For blue ? ) I don’t have a AE blue but a yokomo set. Will experiment.
Neutral turn in
Caster 25 deg
Shock oil 27.5wt front
30wt rear
Gold rear springs
Suspension top Outer hole, 2nd hole from wheel on rear arm
Top inner camber Link (underneath wing tubes)
1.5 deg Camber
Mid length rear shocks

Looking sweet! Roll on Sunday at the track!

Re: Rc10 graphite handling help!
I would start with original shocks at rear 1.32" Top inboard holes, lower outboard holes. silver springs 30W is about right. Ride height is best at bones level rear and arms level front.
The other thing to experiment with is wheel base, generally long wheel base for high grip, SWB for low grip. This can be changed with the rear suspension mounts.
