Rc10 identification help!

Post by Tamiyaterror »

Hi all, I have just been offered another rc10, this time closer to home. I’m not sure which variant it is, could someone take a look and help me out? It’s got some dodgy body mounts at present for a touring car body by the looks of it. Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated

It's a Traxxas TRX-1.

it's not an rc10 but it still is a good car, once cleaned up.

Lots of cleaning needed

Missing the original front tower (repro's are easily available), front bumper that I can see.

It has some custom made body mounts, which seem to be supporting a truck body.

Interesting (homebrew) mechanical speed controller setup.

Given the poor state this thing is in though, I think you'd be in for a few surprises if you purchased it... If you can bag it very cheap, go for it, though. Nice TRX-1's are rare and command serious money :!:
