Thought I would start a thread to show everyone my kyosho inferno obsession.
Started racing about 15 years when I bought an inferno mp7.5 kanai 1 from the United States on eBay.
This had a JP modified engine, and I loved it.
My son had a Hobao Hyper 7, and we raced at our local club for many years, making friends for life who I still keep in touch with now.
So here is my collection, I’m afraid I’m guilty of being a shelf queen worshiper now, I just enjoy restoring old models now, and enjoying them, so here they are.
Any one else with infernos, please let’s see them on this thread too.

MP5 painted.
Finished the MP5 in Repsol livery. Pleased with how this came out in the end. This is the third shell I’ve painted in about a month, took a lot more care with the masking, also any bits of overspray or bleed through were removed with graffiti remover before the next layer of paint was applied, so a cleaner look has been achieved I think.
Thank you to rcdecals-2 on eBay. He was selling the Repsol decals for the Tamiya Escort Cosworth 1/10 scale. I persuaded him to make t

hem 1/8 scale for me, and they worked perfectly. I tried to reproduce the same look as the the Escort, difficult, as the bodies are totally different shapes. Anyway here it is.
