Wicked pictures, I love it.
Wonder how you would have gone without the red light.

Re: Project: LS1 Chevette
The truck was consistently the fastest car in my class all night. I had a couple friends as spotters giving me a heads up on the cars I raced if I had to worry about the tree or not. I knew my only chance to beat the truck was to cut as close to a perfect light as possible. His total time including reaction was a 10.357. My fastest of the night was a 10.297 so there was a chance. But my odds were slim at best. Here’s another try at my slips for night to see if they are less blurry. I’m car 730 and last run being on the left

Re: Project: LS1 Chevette
I’ve seen a few, new to me, Chevette builds recently. I like them all. I haven’t seen that one yet.
I haven’t done much with mine in a while. Last fall I swapped out my 9” third member for a new unit with a 2.50 gear. 1st will go out to 100mph and it dropped 2nd gear cruise rpm around 600rpm. I’ll probably take it to the track this summer to see how much it hurt acceleration. One day it still may get a turbo. Other stuff has taken priority for the time being though.

Re: Project: LS1 Chevette
Well, when you get done with this one, you can start building one with a Duramax in it.
