Re: Shinwa Motor Dresser FET Instructions
I just recently joined rc10talk because I'm trying to help my uncle with one of these shinwa motor dresser break-in kits. He got it through eBay, and paid a decent little chunk for it but when he got it it wasn't working like it was supposed to so I went through everything fixed any issues of wiring but in the process found that the mosfet that is inside of it had blew apart, and basically the piece with the numbers is missing. Please for the love of God can anybody tell me what those numbers are so I can find either a replacement part or equivalent. That's the only thing I'm lacking for him at least being able to use this, and I read everything to where I know all the good things people say about them as well as the bad. He just does a lot of racing, and wants to use it to break in the motors. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Shinwa Motor Dresser FET Instructions
The blown FET is more than likely an N-channel so basically any will do. I would recommend an IRFZ48N which is currently available.
