GS11r glow plug
GS11r glow plug
Possibly a totally newbie question as I am a total newbie; does anyone know what glow plug a vintage Kyosho GS11r engine would require? It is from a pureten gp spider mk2 car.
TIA

Re: GS11r glow plug
I've had a look and it seems the Dynamite plug is only available in the US and I am in the UK.
Someone on reddit mentioned using an OS no8 plug; would this work?
Once again apologies if this is s stupid question, I really know nothing about it!

Re: GS11r glow plug
Yes any standard short plug with a washer will workl, like the OS#8, Long plug might work too but not sure if it hits piston. Heat range midium to hot will run best, no turbo plugs on that engine tho

Re: GS11r glow plug
OS #3's work in everything (they probably have a new number now)
In general hotter plugs tend to idle better and are easier to tune but may not last as long whereas colder plugs are the opposite but tend to make a little more power.
