Frame finished and a sneak preview of the body CAD model

The side pods looked too small so I've modified the model .

Many body revisions later but still with an older design side pod on the body .

Latest version of the side pods installed and a radius to the side window sill , i don't like the roof section so that's next for a redesign .

About a gazillion minor changes that nobody else will notice later and i think i'm happy so its time to sand ,fill and spray , still no idea what sort of paint job it's getting , once its in primer i'm hoping it will speak to me .

I hadn't really considered selling but I've already agreed to post the 3d printing model on Thingiverse for free , the frame is all freehand without even a sketch and only made of copper pipe soldered together so not really a commercial product , when I post the model file I'll include enough frame parts to hang the body together but that's all just ideas yet .

Oh man! What happened?
It looks like maybe you've applied lacquer paint over enamel primer??
Anyway, I'm sure a little sand paper and a lot of elbow grease will fix it.

I applied a clear lacquer over the white but they are different brands of paint there is just one saving grace ,I was going to apply two more metallic colours after the clear coat , I was looking for them to float a little on the clear coat and give it a bit of dimension , I could so easily have put on all 3 colours before hitting it with the offending clear lacquer , still its taken half a bottle of acetone and hours of work to get back to where I was this morning , the real kicker is its slow drying paint that needs 24 hours to fully dry so I'd waited all that time already , now its going to be another 22 hours before I'm back where I was

Looking very good - a darn shame about the paint.
I´ve had the same thing happen to me a cople of times.
Burnt by the fire, I´ve started to let the paint cure for 5-7 days before applying the clear coat.

I've painted a test piece to try it on but I now have clear coat from the same manufacturer so I'm hopeful but I'll still leave it a few hours for the clear to dry then I'll test the other colours in the way I want to use it .
I like the idea of leaving it for 5-7 days but I just don't have the patience .

I got fed up of seeing the gearbox through the back of the cockpit so i drew up this simple bulkhead , I'll probably add a mounting for a driver figure to it as well but that's going to take a little thought as i'm hoping to do battery changes through the windscreen aperture without removing the body .Its hard to see from photo's but the screen shot shows it better.
