Re: HELP optima turbo ?
Hi all, use half old diff, ( the one with the gears in) offer up the belt side of the new one you will see its to wide, if you take a sharp knife and cut off the flange up to the step, (sounds complicated but its not) all you have then is a belt pulley, it all screws together, just make sure you line up the two half's correctly, ( the cutouts in the belt pulley line up with the planet gears. Have fun. Take care all.

Looks good...Losi graphite arms? What are your plans for the rear stabilizer? Looks like you'll need to tap or drill holes in the arms.al.48 wrote:Bit more progress, not final, what do you think, spot the rear arms !

Re: HELP optima turbo ?
Two main options, the easy one is the Ultima 48dp spur, part number W-0110.al.48 wrote:Hi all, is there an "easy" way to get a 48 dp spur on ? Cheers all
The other option is to use Robinson Racing 48dp Ultima gears, while the spur gears are easier to get hold of you will also have to replace the layshaft with the Robinson Racing 48dp one as well which is a lot harder to find.

Almost...you'll want to install a bumper before you run it.
