Long time TN lurker finally signed up

Hey everyone,

Like I’m sure many here experienced, I left the hobby for a while but came back to it as my children started to hit the right age. I’ve found I have no interest in modern wheels, but the vintage equipment brings me back to an easier time, so I went to get my old gear from my parents’ house to introduce my children to the hobby, only to find out they threw them all away!

Damage:
1 Tamiya Sonic Fighter
1 Tamiya Blackfoot
2 Tamiya Bigwigs
1 Traxxas Sledgehammer
1 Schumacher Cougar
1 Academy Mercury Xi-4
And of course, 1 RC10 CE Stealth

My quest to replace these items quickly went off track and now I have:

1 Bigwig
1 Frog
1 Grasshopper
1 Turbo Ultima
1 Ultima II
1 Outrage
1 Eliminator 10
1 King Cab
1/2 RC12
And 1 RC10 Team car

Apparently, instead of recouping what was lost, I find myself buying what looks interesting - or what I wished for back in the day.

Anyway, happy to be here and share some memories!

Wow, that was a huge loss but at least you're rebuilding the collection.
I'm a die-hard RC10 fan since the '80's but I've branched out a little and I've just finished a couple Ultima projects.

You need to restrict your kid’s access to the trashcan ASAP!
