Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2020 ** - Winner - mtbkym01
This one I built from parts (not a complete car) that I already had and the remainder purchased....
RC10 Graphite, repro Protech 2 body, Stealth trans, RPM rear guard, RPM front shorty bumper, RPM centre bellcrank link and ballcups on the rear. Servo is a Futaba 131SH, Tekin TERX 27mhz receiver, Tekin Pro Tempfet esc, motor is a TMS Tornado 14T Double, the battery pack is a Sanyo 1500 SC that actually still takes a charge and the tyres are Hotlaps TF-220 front & Schumacher mini spikes on the rear.

Tamiya 58008 lamborghini countach lp500s that i recently restored. Stripped, repainted, new original decals.
Old J plug futaba receiver was gutted and a 2.4ghz rx was placed inside the old case.

This is a old school racer I found a few years back at a local Hobby shop. I did a mild cleaning and added new front tires and the shock collars, this is how it sits.

I've got some mockup done. Forgot the rear bumper in the pics though. Oh well, not a bad effort for last place

Shoulda put my wood screws into this one also to mount the esc since I guess it's my signature move

Here is my original yokomo mx-4 from 1998. Only mounted a servo mount, instead of the tape and went with fibre-lyte shock towers. It is my personal favourite. Have a look at it's modern brother https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=506858#p506858 .
