B4/XXX class at 2020 VONATs?

Post by Mark Westerfield »

I think there should be a class for this generation of buggies. Sure they are not Classic or Vintage aged. But they are discontinued, designed for Nicd/Nimh and brushed motors, and are certainly a generation apart from current stuff. It would broaden the racer base, and could provide additional entries and fees to the track. The racers would potentially be more likely to enter multiple (classic and vintage) classes as well.

Just curious.

that's definitely a call for Erich, not sure he visits this forum much at all anymore.

i wouldn't mind seeing an extra class, although the weekend is pretty packed tight already. they have been running that modern class with the local weekly racers, that would be cool to see them added in that class.

Something would have to give in the program. The weekend is already quite packed.
