TOP MODELS HYBRID (1993)
Most of you will not have heard of the TOP Hybrid – as this car is actually most likely recognizable as an RPM Ultra ‘Worlds’ molded RC10. However, over in the UK a well-known model shop (and race team) by the name of TOP Models decided to put together a car comprised of what they considered to be the best of the best parts of the era, and what they came up with was the TOP Models Hybrid. First announced in late ’92, the car has the full RPM Ultra Molded chassis and wishbone set up, Traxxas shocks with 2 pairs of different coloured/rated Losi springs, Stealth box, optional Hydradrive conversion, MIP CV drive shafts, HPI spoked 2.2inch rims and titanium turnbuckles. I was very fortunate to locate this ‘garage find’ car, which was 100% complete right down to the spare pair of Losi springs having been purchased directly from TOP Models bitd by the previous owner. Having spoken to the former shop owner it is claimed that less than 20 of these kits were actually sold, and the rarest part is definitely the Hybrid bodyshell, which was made specifically for this car by Racecraft. The car has cleaned up remarkably well, and I had to painstakingly match the white paint to respray the shell; the former owner having applied fairly grim stickers on the inside of the shell prior to paint! I was also very pleased to see that the TOP Models mod of adding a thin sheet of carbon fibre beneath the gearbox and over the rear chassis area for stiffening had also been applied to this car. As a racer from the late 80’s and early 90’s over in the UK I feel very fortunate indeed to have got hold of this rare example. The HotLaps tyre combo is what I ran on grass back in the day!
I have also managed to locate and restore a TOP Missile 15Triple motor, which is now sat in the back of this car. Full car restoration thread, including the motor rebuild, magazine articles detailing the specification, as well as late ‘92 adverts can be found here:-

Ichiban Masami !!
This is a replica of the Masami 2007 world B4 in Japan.
The car is not a race winner but i think it is one of the best looking B4s that ever raced
It has shiny mip CVD in rear, the correct shocks and springs, white Yokomo balls cups and all the blue bits that were not stock back then. Chassis wise the car is a perfect replica.
I had the stickers custom made including the replica numbers for the race. You can see the original photo of the race car in Japan from the people site below.
The Yokomo Flash motor that the car had is impossible to find (Never seemingly commercially available in mod) . VFS inside.
It s "only" 13 years old but it s one of my favorite replicas.

What!? No love for the snowmobile?
I figured as much, but wanted to participate to start off the new year.
Orangemazda----that Radiant is absolutely badass. Best one I've seen. I'm truly jealous that it's not in my collection.
Lots of beautiful machines to start off the year with.

I love the snowmobile! Would love to see some video! I decide every vote by which car I'd most want on my shelf and the 12L is just awesome! Some killer entries to start off 2020 for sure! All better than anything I own!

FWIW my very own cousin's Nitro Brute is probably the funnest truck I've ever driven! Family loyalty is out the window in the polls though. All is fair in love and toy cars!
