Vintage Dumas Hotshot Sprint resto
Bought this vintage piece on ebay earlier this spring, havent had much time for it but finally got started. It came with a 7.5cc k&b outboard but didnt run right, so it got sold for new vintage 3.5cc k&b outboard. The engine had to be fitted with a custom made plate to mount it to the boat as the holes for the 7.5cc were much wider. The engine in pic is the 3.5cc unit fitted to the boat. Painted it with classic laquer then clear coated

I don't want to jack your thread with pics of my junk. lol But you have inspired me. Maybe I'll take some pics and start a thread.

Alex, that's quite enough tomfoolery outta you! Besides, rumor has it that it's more of a needle than a thread...

Made a cover out of plexiglass for radio compartment
Custom fuel tank mount and throttle cable bracket
Didnt have a jackplate so made this one that fixes engine in permanent position for now

Looks great, as does the display! I look forward to wrecking and sinking that boat when the weather warms up!

Re: Vintage Dumas Hotshot Sprint resto
That's turned out nicely
I always fancied a boat .

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
