Any plane guys here?

Post by Steve71 »

Thought maybe someone here would have an idea what this is worth. Doing some cleaning today and I came across a brand new in the box 6ft wingspan balsa glider kit. It's a 2X6 is the model. Funny thing is I have no idea where it even came from because I have always been an RC truck/car guy and was into boats back in the 80's but never was into planes. So thinking maybe I got it in a trade years ago or something perhaps, dunno. Anyway I googled it and I can'y find anything that gives any idea what it may be worth. Anyone here a plane guy and maybe can give me an idea of if its worth selling or is it just a toss it out / no worth it kit?

Best place to judge value is eBay, just make sure your looking at ended listings. You can ask whatever you want for it, but the last one sold for $39 with two people bidding and they paid more than anyone else was willing to pay.

I use my phone mainly, so in the app it’s on the “filter” drop down under “completed”. More specifically the button right under “completed” is “sold” that way you can see only the ones that did sell or all of them including ones that didn’t. I don’t recall how far back it goes, maybe 6 months or so.

Learn something new every day I guess. After all these years I never knew you could even do that. I'm on a desktop PC but I just looked and there's a tiny little "advanced" setting next to search and after a couple clicks I found where you can include both ended and sold listing. Thanks a bunch I can't believe I never knew that was possible on ebay.
