Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2019 ** - Winner - winner_evo
Right, here's one I recently finished....
Body is a Venom Nissan Skyline R35 GTR that I got a few years ago. Big long blob of a thing, with wings, light buckets, and the worst decals I've ever seen in my life - just windows and headlights, but they were falling off even before I finished installing them!
To this mess I added a massive custom decal kit, based on a famous drift scheme, that was designed for a completely different body. Took me days to get it all worked out, from seeing which decal went where (no instructions), to cutting them all, and then finally mounting them up. Decals are three deep in places, due to the overlapping details... the body is probably twice as heavy as it was originally, just from decals!
Seeing as light buckets were included, I added full working LEDs and a Tamiya controller - 10 LEDs in all, six forward and four rear. Chassis is basic Tamiya TT01, with some required hopups and a HPI Driftmeister 19T motor. Wheel and tyre package is new mounted foams, as they filled the guards best (and were the right colour!). Maybe next month, I will have completed something a little more 'vintage'.... just making up the numbers this month

right - abso-freaking-lutely nothing is working as planned this fall, so Mr. A. Jacobson not sending me the bodies that have been duly paid for comes as no surprise. Here is plan-C, a TA03F with a great Pennzoil color scheme, but not what I wanted to enter this month... Hope you still like it

I got confused, I thought it was "what did you buy this month contest"
Just here to fill some space, I didn't build it and barely know what it is.
So please direct your votes to somebody that actually did build
1992 Schumacher BossCAT (Comp or Works?)
I don't know much about these but it's a pretty cool car.
