Whoa, I never knew these particular Trinity aluminum endbell motors came anodized in color! Never seen one before, had to have it.
Looks good in the ol' purple chassis car...

Whole car! Sorry about the tires and shocks etc..

Just a normal slowly-progressing-as-I-find-better-parts build, natch.

I have a Novak problem....

Interesting, i've never seen one in purple before either. The brush heatsinks .. sure, they're everywhere, but never the actual aluminum endbell.

The Trinity EX Tech Experimental motors usually come with grey can and endbell and golden brush setup.
I got a different version with purple can and endbell and silver brush setup.
The label is exactly the same as with the other version.

But you could find GM labels on Trinity/Epic or HPI cans.
Or even certain Kyosho cans. But those are super rare because they were prototype or team motors and never went to the public.

I had heard that this could be a Trinity purple motor plate for the XXT. I emailed Trinity and they confirmed it was. Pretty exciting as I have never seen one.

Yes sir, mighty fine stuff! There's quite a few 4-40 x 1/2 flat heads and 8-32 x 1/2 flat heads. I must have used up the socket head ones.
Maybe I could talk myself into trading them for...

I'm looking for some purple aluminum 4-40 screws for my Invencer XT, and wanted to know if anyone can compare the shade of purple from Trinity and Fastener Express?

The Trinity purple is an exact match for the Raborn purple, but I'm having trouble...

I just came across some vintage parts, and among them is a losi motor plate for the jrx-2 series. it is anodized purple.
Does anyone know anything about this? I've never seen one before. did they make any other parts in special colors?
