Help needed with YZ-10 vs YR-4 Bulkheads

Hello,

I’ve been searching all over the internet (to no avail) to find out if the YZ-10 bulkheads/caps (and differentials since i’m on the topic) are the same as the original YR-4 ?

I did come to a conclusion (could be wrong) that they are compatible, but i’m trying to understand if they are exactly the same or not.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

for the 870c/yz10, as far as I am aware, the bulkheads are indeed almost identical, except one is magnesium, or a possible aluminum upgrade, and one was made of black plastic. I believe interchangeable except there might be a tweak or minor trims of the plastic parts to work. diffs are the same and i have seen people use the black caps on the magnesium bulkheads. later yz10's have some more differences, including a different front end assembly.

Thanks for speedy response, I've been following a few YR-4s on ebay and they look to have the magnesium bulkheads all around. Not sure if these are OEM on the Oder kits, I'm just looking for a donor car for bulkheads so I can build up my YZ-10. Thanks again
