Almost looks like somebody made a hand laid fiberglass one with a green gelcoat or dyed finish with lots of years of patina on top of that? Just my guess.

yeah, I would agree. Someone did a really nice job if that is the case. though they used dye in the resin, rather than gelcoat or topcoat.

Used to be into kit cars, having seen entire car bodies made from the stuff why the heck not.

Well, the unbelievably hairy arm leads me to believe it is in the possession of, and probably made by a Sasquatch or some other member of the same genus. Likely made from compressed plant material and scat formed under their foot. Mystery solved.
