Finished RC10 classic rebuild

Post by RCAddict777 »

Thought I'd share a couple pics of the old girl. Lol I ended up using some rear shocks from my RC10gt stadium truck because my old stock ones were leaking. Motor & esc is Reedy black combo brushless & gens ace 2s lipo. I've been gentle on the throttle as to not kill the tranny. It's been running great.

That looks so tough without the wing and street tires. If the trans is a stealth I’ve been running 4.5 brushless power without a problem it can handle 10.5 with ease.

Thank you. It has the stock transmission still so I've been easy on it. I've been looking on ebay for a stealth, got out bid on one and the only other I've found are new ones for $199. I'll eventually break down and get one if I cant find a used one soon. :D

I just bought a stealth for $55. Thanks for the heads up on that. They seem to be pretty hard to find. Thought I was going to have to buy a roller car and salvage from that. Lol

Hi RcAddict777

I don't think so. They look the same to me.
I was looking for one on Ebay as well. And then it was gone.
Looks like you got a pretty good deal.

Oh good. I was hesitant at first but went ahead and got it. Its looks almost new in the pics. It should be here around the 27th. I was lucky for sure. I was recently out bid on one a couple weeks ago cuz the auction ended super late at night & I fell asleep. Lol this one i didnt even have to bid on. :D
