Track Master belt drive
Would it be possible to convert it to direct drive? Is it just swap out the belt drive gear and top shaft with a spur?
Thanks
Jake
Thanks

I don't have experience running a Trackmaster trans but I've read that the belts on them tended to slip. That makes me doubt the trans would do well with a brushless. I'm also not sure if the direct drive version would do much better because of the small diif rings the trans uses.

The odds are good that you will wind up damaging vintage RC parts. Why even risk it?

I get it but I don’t let stuff like that bother or stop me though I have my ace in the hole as always my machinist.ChisaiKuso wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:11 pmThe odds are good that you will wind up damaging vintage RC parts. Why even risk it?

Re: Track Master belt drive
Decided to get the parts Cryo treated to add some strength to the gears and shaft may do the same if I run a metal spur for the drag racer build. See how this works out..........
