Are these antiques worth anything at all?

Could the 411g be used with modern electrics/batteries?

any electronic speed controllers can be used with modern batteries and brushed motors. The only issues to watch for are the input voltage is within the specs of the controller, and to use caution or simple voltage alarms to avoid over-discharging lipo batteries. The last issue is to be aware that the battery capacity is so much greater then when the brushed motors were the only choice, and you can easily overheat one of these by running them significantly longer than 5-6 minutes without a cool off period.
