Wow! I saw that link a long time ago. He really did some great things to the car since the last time. I see how the collets are set up on the steering linkage now.

I bought this tamiya driver ( monster beetle, I think) about a year ago hoping that I could make it work. What do you all think? I was planning on switching out for a Frog helmet and using maybe antenna tubing for the steering wheel.
